How we look after your information

The short version: we only use what you share with us to help you get funded, and we keep it secure.

Who we are

Grant Wise Solutions helps community groups, CICs and charities find and apply for funding. Questions about your information: email info@grantwisesolutions.co.uk.

What we hold

Contact details you give us (names, email addresses and phone numbers) and the information about your organisation that we need to write funding applications for you: what you do, who you support, your governance, finances and project plans.

If you use the client portal: your login email, the applications we're working on for you, updates, approvals, invoices and the details you add to your profile.

If you use our contact form: what you send us.

How we use it

Only to provide our services to you: planning your funding, writing and tracking applications, invoicing, and keeping in touch about your work with us.

We share your organisation's information with a funder only when you've asked us to apply to that funder for you. We never sell your information or use it for anyone else's marketing.

Where it's kept

In secure systems that only the Grant Wise team can access: our client portal (hosted with Supabase in London) and our Google Drive. Documents stay in Google Drive; the portal keeps records and links.

We keep encrypted backups so your information isn't lost. Our backup tool can only see and change the backup files it creates itself.

The portal uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How long we keep it

For as long as you're working with us, and afterwards only as long as we need to for our records, funder reporting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@grantwisesolutions.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
